From Our Prayers to Yours

In light of the recent attacks on Paris and around the world we can find hope in God’s promise of protection and comfort. Christians around the world send up thousands, millions, of prayers each day. We are writing today to add our prayers and encouragement to the outpouring of love. To the people of Paris, and the world, we are offering our support and prayers to let you know that you do not stand alone. We are all one, no matter our race, language, or ethnicity, in Christ. You all are our brothers and sisters in Christ and family sticks together though thick and thin.

Accountability

Christians are meant to be there for one another, not to tear each other apart. Too often people tear others down but worse than that, Christians are found tearing other Christians, their own brothers and sisters, down. It is not hard to support someone. A simple text could make a world of a difference. When you become a Christian you become part of something huge, the body of Christ. A body cannot stand if one arm is trying to break the other. Live in the Moment

As we grow up we learn that even the one person that wasn’t supposed to ever let us down probably will. You’ll have your heart broken and you’ll break others’ hearts. You’ll fight with your best friend or maybe even fall in love with them. You’ll cry because time is flying by, so take too many pictures, laugh too much, forgive freely, and love like you have never been hurt. Life comes with no guarantees, no time outs, no second chances. You just have to live life to the fullest, tell someone off, speak out, dance in the pouring rain, hold someones hand, comfort a friend, fall asleep watching the sunrise come up, stay up later, and smile until your face hurts. Have you heard of the Charlie, Charlie challenge? If you haven’t it’s a challenge where you call a demon from hell to ask him questions with pencils and paper. Recently I found this guy named Joshua Feuerstein who came up with a different “version”.
